The black smith

the black smith
First I lose my strength, and now I’m going mad!
was trying to make a big sword for the king but my hammer was just to heavy and I was getting too old to do this for much longer!

I looked at a mouse and a little crusader that looked like a little toy knight that I used to play with. “your a funny little thing,” I said to to the little crusader as I bent down to take a closer peep. Then I looked at the mouse, at the time I didn’t know the mouse was a mouse so when I looked at the mouse I called him a rat! The mouse looked offended and sunk down in embarrassment “Gallahan is not a rat he is the finest stable mouse in the land!’’ Said the little crusader, oops I mumbled.

“Me and Gallahan have traveled here to ask you to complete a task,” “I have no purpose’’ I whispered. Then he pulled out a tiny sword,I gruff voice I said “I can fix that.”So I set to work, putting the broken sword on tiny tweezers, melting some more metal banging it with my hammer.

When I gifted the tiny crusader his  sword he thanked me and then told me my task was not over yet I looked puzzled but then lots more crusades emerged from their hiding places. I proudly said who’s next.

I finally have a purpose.

  2. Like the opening paragraph as it entices the reader to continue. Good use of adjectives throughout the story.
