Camp Recount

Wednesday 30th March
Camp Recount
Waipara Camp(Tree Climbing)
As I was sitting on the seats of Waipara listening to the instructors,my heart was but beating as fast as lightning.I was really really nervous.

“It’s time to put on your super protected harness”said the instructor.”How high is the tree”I asked."20 metres high".WOW!There were 4 of us and we were clipped together, but we weren’t clipped on to the tree, which was really scary. My friends and I were really nervous which made me more nervous.

“It is time to start climbing the tree “said the insructor. My heart was beating as fast as drums as i started to climb the ladder which leads to the tree.We have to touch the red rope and come back down.T was a lot more easier coming down than going up.We finally made it down.

It was a success and the rue was that we weren’t allowed to go straight up,we had to go round the tree and up.It was scary but fun at the same time.I would do it again any time.

The Blacksmith
Amazing event happened yesterday at 10:30 pm,old man meets and fixes a mini Knights sword how rode on a mouse.

Our reporter Sam Houston was an eye witness. There was a old blacksmith name Mr Mike who was losing his strength then he,hears a noise from an old suit of armor I'm the corner of his workshop then a mouse with a saddle on it jumped out of the suit of armor landed near the fireplace then out of nowhere a mini knight appeared and ask the blacksmith to fix his sword so Mr Mike said “I can fix that” as he grabbed the tiny sword.

In Mr Mike's words “he thought he was going to have a heart attack”
